Does the KKW and ITF accept black belts from ATA TaeKwonDo?

    Just curious. I located a club nearby which is ATA-lineage. Specifically Songahm TaeKwonDo.

    I don't believe so. ATA practice ITF forms, but in a different way.

    Finlay is right, they don't. Completely different system with their own form set and entirely different standards.

    Any reputable school should. There Will be a learning curve but most schools will let a person keep wearing their BB if they wish and are otherwise proficient. I have seen several people who had not worked our for some time who chose to start back as a color belt and move at an accelerated pace through the ranks. Works better for some. ITF sparring will be more familiar that KKW.

    No they don't anymore. They did the first year or so
