Does this dolyo chagi resemble this guys?

    His roundhouse kick 0:29

    My kick

I didn't like his side kick at all, but I tried to emulate his roundhouse kick at 0:30 It hade a nice whip like style, and was blazingly fast.

Is it silly for a tall guy like me kicking in this crouched style?

I don’t find it a good kick. Given what we know now about the biomechanics of kicking, and posture in general.

It's really a one hit kick, there's no way you can make up a fast combo with it, not to mention the imbalance posture. Don't call it dolyo chagi, the mechanics are too different.

Yes, which is SD orientation. Kicking combos are for sport.

    It’s bad even for SD.

I didn't ask if it was good or not. I asked if it resembled a particular exponent.
