    U16 shouldn't be breaking any kind of really solid board.

    Agreed, the only boards we let the younger member break are the old re breakable ones, well past their sell by date, and some very thin boards, neither of which take much to break, but the children love it. The only techniques they can use, are front kicks or palm heel strikes.
  4. As above only very linmited and very old pastEUL boards with aplm stikes or similar for under 16s . The damage it can cause to bones of the youngsters is a major issue but also the technique in this video is appualing to say the least.

    one of the worst example of how to teach children i have ever seen.

    both in the dojo and in classroom, I teach in both and I would kick him out of a school if i saw hime teach like that.

    this is aside from the obvious stupid behavior of asking young children to break a board. even hitting a BOB for young children is a bad idea since the weight and density of the constuction is not made for children.

    i made it less than 10 mins before i stopped in disgust
